First off I would like to introduce this book – Sunrise Gratitude by Emily Silva..
Now let’s get down to the review…
Structure: Daily readings – these are dated and one to be read every morning
Time Take: Obviously the whole book will take a year, but the readings themselves take no longer than 2 minutes
Thoughts: This is a wonderful book, it is great to wake up every morning and read one of these positive filled paragraphs, I honestly felt a lot more serene going about my daily tasks, filling them with whatever the reading suggested I do, whether it was to take time out to enjoy some self-care or bring mindfulness into my everyday tasks.
The writer Emily bring a lot of nature into her writings, whether it be the sunrise, whales and the beauty of the frost laden lands, its nice to imagine this kind of beauty and makes me a little nostalgic for those outdoor encounters.
I feel more positive and want to be more mindful as a result of reading this book so far, I love to mix this with some meditation and feel the action of them both is really helping me expand my positivity and calm. I am looking forward to seeing how this has changed my viewpoints over the course of the year and will comeback to this review at the end.
