Strawberry & Chia Seed Jam – Only 1 tbsp of Maple Syrup! Hurrah!! Guilt-Free Jam!

This is the recipe for my 4 ingredients, barely any sugar chia strawberry jam. It’s really delicious, and you can use it to your heart’s content, it’s straightforward to customise the chia seed levels if you’re not a fan of them or want to use a little bit less. You can spread this on anything you want from toast to crackers, or you can add it to desserts, breakfast pancakes or yoghurt compotes, it’s versatile, super quick and easy andddddd IT TASTES AMAZING!!!

Are you a jammy person? What do you love to spread it on?

Why not watch my quick video? If you’re not in a watching mood, no worries, the recipe is just below! I do hope you enjoy!

Recipe

Ingredients:

2 punnets of strawberries

2 tbsp of chia seeds (useless if you’re not a fan, though I wouldn’t recommend more as there is a lot in this recipe – I am a huge fan hehe)

1 tbsp of 100% pure maple syrup

Squeeze of lemon

Method:

Quarter your strawberries, and place in a pan

Add lemon and maple syrup

Cook on a high heat until the strawberries have broken down

Once this has happened take off the heat and add chia seeds

Add to a sterilized jar Leave to cool and then add the lid and refrigerate

NB: As there is not really any sugar in here you will need to eat this quickly, I tend to make smaller batches (so half the above) unless I am adding them to my dessert bars or breakfasts etc.

Thank you very much for taking time out of your busy day to watch my video! I am eternally grateful and I would love to see you here again! I hope you have an amazing day! xxxx
