Hiiii!!! So it’s officially winter! I know it seems like it has been winter for a solid month now, but trust me todays the first day! I think this is the perfect excuse to celebrate! I have decided to celebrate with a beautiful winter’s walk. I chose the Shining Tor in Macclesfield, it’s a great little 6 mile circular with some amazing views and some great interest en route. I ended my perfect winter walk with my favourite beverage, my homemade mochaccino.
This is my favourite picture! That is my husband up ahead! The clouds were so low, once we had walked into them you couldn’t see anything else around you! We were just heating into the clouds!
You can see how the clouds are blocking the view off the edge of this hill range.
I managed to catch a break in the clouds, just peaking through you can see how far up we were.
I love how the hills seemingly carry on for days!! Just beautiful
The clouds look so imposing against these hills!
For the best part of this walk it was beautifully sunny but as we gained height the clouds rolled in and wrapped themselves around us. This walk was amazing, I loved every minute of it. I am not very good with photography, I am ok at landscapes and my skills get worse with things like food snaps, my aim is to try and take better photos. I have experimented on this walk with filters, this is Silvertone on the iPhone.
How will you be celebrating winter rolling in?
Have an amazing day!!!
