For a while now I have been toying with the idea of becoming a yoga instructor. I have just spent a little over 4 years gaining my degree in Business and Management and I loved doing this, I spent a lot of time, money and mental energy on this part of my life. I completed my degree in August this year and have since needed a little break.
I have always loved yoga and have dabbled on and off with the practice. Yoga is one of those magical things in the world, it resets, heals and restores anything you need. My yoga practice has been mainly restorative practices over the course of my degree, I needed to calm my mind and I am excited to now add in some more complex and high tempo sequences.
I now feel this is the right time to take my yoga practice up a level and to also embark on my yoga teacher training course. At the moment I don’t meet the requirements to attend my chosen course so I will be working on this. I want this blog to be my journey to becoming a yoga teacher.
Part of the requirements is the practice of course but also self-reflections, keeping a diary so to speak, so consider this phase of my blog the requirement stage, so lots of self-reflections, diary keeping and practice mentions. This way when I enrol onto my course my potential teachers can simply read my blog.
Thank you for taking the time to read this blog and I wish you all the best on your journey, maybe following me on mine will help you to achieve yours, or perhaps you are just interested in a yogi’s point of view, or more like ramblings!
Have an amazing day
